It was a video that raised eyebrows on social media: a Michigan police officer jumping out of his car, running down the street, pulling a dirt bike rider off his seat as he was stopped at an intersection and taking him to the ground.
When Grand Rapids Police Chief Eric Winstrom saw the video, he wasn't fazed, but rather pleased, stressing this was not excessive force.
